I am a multi-tasking, snobby, childish twenty-something with a passion for originality. I have worked for several record labels, some being major, some being larger independents. I write because I’m tired of others writing. Too many times do I see reviews in Rolling Stone and Blender and AP where the critic praises the album and says it’s the next big thing, simply because they are friends with the band or because they don’t want to make the band’s label angry. What happened to truth? What happened to people saying, “Yes, I know this artist is the biggest thing on earth right now, but the album still sucks”? America needs honesty with music and entertainment, and I am here to attempt such a feat.
